I. Announcements
Tue is requesting another section of Alg II at Pittsburg High paid for through Cal Pass. This will be brought to DE.
We need to discuss whether we want to use Wiley Plus Access for Math 50.
DBA will offer a learning community in the fall with the 907 class.
Jeff is checking to see if ‘legally’ non-tenured faculty can serve on adjunct hiring committees. If so Mara, Julie, and Tue want to be involved.
Pat announced reps from Carnegie will be on campus today at about 1:30
II. Action Items
Mara motioned, Michael 2nd to vote on the Math 40 COOR. It was approved unanimously.
A’kilah announced the Math 908 COOR she and Julie are working on turning into a permanent COOR.
Spring Flex – we will have one on Math 34 Assessment. A’kilah will send out an email to adjunct faculty asking their input on what topics they’re interested in (technology, professional development on lab tutoring, CFEQ’s, other)
Our next department meeting will be on Wednesday, November 3rd.
